"Le Nostre Terre" olive pomace oil is suitable for different preparations and is particularly suitable for cooking food, thanks to its neutral taste that does not alter flavors. Pomace oil is a very particular oil because it is considered a by-product: it is obtained, in fact, from peels, stones and fragments of olives left after the first pressing. These residues are then pressed and mixed with extra virgin olive oil, obtaining a product rich in organoleptic properties and ideal in the kitchen thanks to its very high smoke point. It is characterized by its straw-yellow color and delicate aroma, it is perfect for making fragrant preparations such as bread, focaccia, biscuits and taralli, to which it manages to give an unbeatable crunchiness. When tasted, this oil is quite flat and with a recognizable aftertaste.
